Even though I have lived in regions that (can) get snow for the last 12 years, from now forward I will always be using the snowstorm we had in January of this year as a reference point for all future snow accumulations.
We got about
16 inches of snow. SIXTEEN INCHES.
It was epic.
We were basically stuck at the house for the majority of a week, but overall we had the best time! (And then by the end of the week we were oh so thankful to get out of the house).

That doesn't quite qualify as "epic" in Maryland. We still go to work at that point.
