May Phone Dump

See that space between those two boys? I was snuggled in there with them for a cozy and extremely rare afternoon nap.

The Overlook.

Picnic lunch with Daddy after school.

"Muffins with Mom"

The boy loves stickers.

Carson's first "stick figure" drawings.

This is when Carson really started taking an interest in  coloring. I think his face here is hilarious.

This picture makes my heart ache. Somehow at 5.5 years old he took a picture that looks SO much like he did at 2.

This is what happened when I told the boys we were going to meet Daddy for lunch at his work.

They were a little excited.

The sacrifices you make for your kids...dinner and play time at McDonald's.

This is the only outfit he wanted to wear for the majority of the summer.

Carson's best friend, Micah.

He so rarely sleeps in my lap these days.

The first excursion of our summer-- Hands On! in Hendersonville.

The boys were fascinated by the police dogs!

My dad flew into Charlotte to spend a couple of days with us before we all headed to Baltimore for Julia's graduation. It was really nice to have some focused time with him. We went to Mt. Mitchell and it was a gorgeous, perfect morning.

"Rest time" with the little one.

Swim lessons for both boys. It was...interesting,

Hello Spring!

Crayola drawing kit. On clearance for $5 at Walmart. These things make me happy.

Fairy Tale day at school!

Sweet Lea's first visit to the veterinary specialists in Greenville.

Cargy was a prince for fairy tale week.

Face painting at school.

He found a baby pacifier.

A rare nap for Cargy. And a little bonding time with Winston.

That's a bird with a huge ball of Winston's fur--I assume he/she was using it to make a nest.

We found a bird's nest! I spent the next few weeks on baby watch :)

Daniel, Carver, and I all fell asleep one Sunday afternoon. This one did not....but he entertained himself.
