Spring Break (2023) St. Louis- Part 2

In the second half of our trip we went to a Cardinals baseball game; went up in the arch; took a short river boat cruise, and went to the zoo!

These little pods took us up to the top of the arch and it was a kind of insane experience. They were teeny tiny!

We love going to baseball games together. Well, Carver doesn't really love it but he is usually a good sport about it. Carson, of course, loves them and so does Daniel. Surprisingly, I enjoy them as well-- but, mostly for the food options.

This trip to St. Louis is one of my top five traveling experiences with the whole family 💖

Spring Break (2023)- St. Louis! Part 1

The decision to head to St. Louis was a little random. It gave us a chance to get another state in for the boys, and after some research, it turns out that there is a lot to do in St. Louis.

We had a GREAT trip! We enjoyed the city and found plenty of things to keep us busy. The weather was beautiful and, all in all, it was just so perfect.

Family trips are my absolute favorite. I feel like we are all at our best when we are traveling together to fun places and staying busy with activities.

The drive to St. Louis is about 9 hours, and heading there we split the drive up and stopped in Tennessee. When we arrived in the city we headed straight to City Museum-- probably the best children's museum I have ever seen. It was insanely crowded, but we loved it.

Dinner on the first night was at this Mexican restaurant after the museum.

The second day was long and very filled with activities. We spent most of the day at Union Station where we went to the aquarium, did a ropes course, walked through a mirror maze, rode a Ferris wheel, played mini golf, and ate lunch.

We made a last minute decision to buy tickets to a hockey game about an hour before it started. The boys and I had never been to a hockey game and it was fun! I'm not sure I would go to a lot of hockey games, but it was fun to see something new.
