Carson-- 6 Months

Good grief, we are already halfway to Carson's first birthday.

Time just passes too quickly.

This sweet boy of mine is so precious. I don't  have adequate words to describe how much he has added to our family. We are so in love with him. So in love.

Stats:
Weight: 17.13 lbs/ 50th percentile
Height: 27 in/ 75th percentile
Diapers: Size 3
Clothes: 6 months or 6-9/6-12 month
Hair: Growing!

New Stuff:

1) Carson really loves his big brother and finds him completely fascinating.

2) Trying oh so hard to crawl. He can roll, scoot and in general move around to get pretty much where he wants to go, but he is not quite crawling yet. Soon.

3) Sitting up-- with help, not quite ready to do it on his own.

4) Laughing and laughing and laughing. He loves to be tickled, and thinks his Daddy's beard is particularly funny.

5) Grabbing EVERYTHING.

6) Eating rice cereal! He did a super great job with it the first time. I am so proud, pleased, and impressed.

7) Sleeping: Carson wakes up around 6:00 a.m. and then takes a short morning nap around 9:00 a.m. for about 30-45 minutes. Then he sleeps in the afternoon for around 2 hours. He is ready for bed at about 7:00 p.m. BUT he still wakes up at least 3 times every single night...

8) Newly interested in the dogs.

9) Temperament: Calm and happy! Carson is very laid back and quite happy. He does have times each day where he only wants to be held and he really hates riding in the car-- but in general he is very easy-going.

10) Bottles-- NO. Occasionally  he will take one, but in general he refuses, which is VERY frustrating.

I can't wait for the month 7 update-- I feel sure he will be crawling AND sitting up by then. Should be  fun...and a total game changer.
