Jekyll Island (December 2020)

On the way home from Florida we decided to stop on Jekyll Island for a couple of nights. It was the absolute perfect end to our Christmas travels. The weather was pretty beautiful and mild. We had a big room at a pet-friendly place right across the street from the beach. We walked on the beach a lot and found a lot of fun things. We went to the sea turtle rehabilitation place and walked an historical trail and learned some about the slave trade in Georgia. We ordered take-out from places and hung out in our room. It was a relaxing couple of days and I want to return there as often as possible 😊

The driftwood beach was my absolute favorite.

Carver did a little metal detecting.

We found a lot of (live) sand dollars!

And some (dead) crabs.

Bentley loves the beach-- especially trying to chase the seagulls.
