December Phone Dump

Superhero Day at Church!

After church we headed to the woods and chose our tree at a Christmas tree farm.

Mom visited in early December and we stayed busy the whole time-- our first stop was the Western North Carolina Nature Center for their holiday festivities.

Garland making.

Dipping candles.

Tattoos!

That time Carson got complete stuck and called for help...and I told him to hold on a bit tighter so I could take a picture.

Carson's Christmas program at Montreat Morning School.

Can you spot him?

Carson wanted a 25-cent ball out of the machine at Old Navy...but I didn't have any change. So, he got to do the trampoline instead ($7/5 minutes)

Waiting to see the doctor when Carson had an ear infection scare. (False alarm).

Baby Winston.

Picture of a picture.

Random. And shout out to Grandmama for making the boys their Christmas pillow cases.

Minion cupcakes for Carver's school friends. (A little early birthday celebration).

Teacher gifts.

MMS school Christmas party.

Carver and I had our second annual birthday date night. Dinner and a show at the Asheville Community Theater. I look forward to this night all year long. This year we ate dinner at Pack's Tavern and then saw The Best Christmas Pageant Ever, just the two of us. I adore him more than I can say.

(This picture looks nothing like Carver to me. But I think it is funny).

All my boys.

Kicking off the Christmas Season

In early December my mom and I planned a super fun day for the boys to get them excited about the Christmas season.

First stop was the Biltmore Estate (with Julia too!)

Carson writing on the shuttle.

After leaving the Biltmore we headed to Kilwin's in downtown Asheville.

Then it was time to head to Bryson City for the BIG EVENT. We took the boys to the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad to ride the Polar Express! I thought the trip was quite well done, and the boys had so much fun :)

The boys with their Golden Tickets!

New pajamas for the big night.

(this one makes me laugh)

Me and Jules!

No idea what this look was in reference to.

The bag of treats.

Carver lost his Golden Ticket and he was devastated. It was later replaced and all was well in his world again.

Hot Chocolate!

The new ticket :)

Waiting for Santa.

Receiving their silver sleigh bells.

This entire day was so long, but so much fun. We pulled both boys out of school for the day and we were gone from early morning until pretty late at night. But it was SO worth it. It was the perfect kick-off to the Christmas season. I am so grateful that my mom indulges me (us) and helps me plan events like these.

I'll always remember that day.
