Florida Vacation (Part VI)

We stayed busy for the last couple of days in Bartow too. The boys played in the pool and drove their cars down to the pastures to feed the cows and goats-- they love this! We went to the Children's Museum in Lakeland, at Carver's request, and then on the way out of town we went to the Museum of Natural History in Gainesville to go to the Butterfly Rainforest. We were all so sad to head back to NC-- I am hoping to find a way to get us back down to Bartow this fall :)

They adore their grandmama. They both ask about her all the time, and ask to visit her, and tell me that they wish we lived closer to her and granddaddy, They miss her so.

He likes to pose with random things.

Carver tried sushi-- and he liked it!

The "orange factory" at the museum is the favorite exhibit-- so cute!

The boys chose this bear at the Crayola Experience-- then they worked so hard on coloring it. I love the way they both turned out.

Butterfly Rainforest!

At the museum in Gainesville.

After leaving Gainesville the boys and I drove for a few hours and then stopped at a hotel in Savannah for the night. Staying at a hotel, just me and the boys, is one of my favorite things. I don't know why, but it is just fun. We are super laid back. We went swimming and got fast food for dinner. Then we went to a random gas station and they picked out some treats before heading back to the room to watch TV. We usually just sleep until we wake up and then go down for breakfast and load the car up and get back on the road. I really really love these random travel stops.
