After the beach and visiting with friends, we were finally headed to Bartow. The boys ask me all the time if we can go see Grandmama and Granddaddy. It is one of their very favorite places (ranking right up there with the Great Wolf Lodge). This is, quite literally, the highlight of their year.

One day we headed to Dinosaur World and met our friends, Courtney, Darin, and Whitney. We go to Dinosaur World every single time we are in Florida-- but Courtney and her family had never been. We loved getting to introduce them to one of our favorite places!

After Dinosaur World and lunch, we headed to meet my parents in Tampa and then drove over to eat dinner at Crabby Bill's at the beach. While there, both boys decided that they like crab legs. I consider this a major parenting accomplishment.
Daniel's last day was July 4th, that afternoon he flew back up to Asheville. We had pretty low-key celebrations in Bartow for the 4th.
