Spring Break (2023)- St. Louis! Part 1

The decision to head to St. Louis was a little random. It gave us a chance to get another state in for the boys, and after some research, it turns out that there is a lot to do in St. Louis.

We had a GREAT trip! We enjoyed the city and found plenty of things to keep us busy. The weather was beautiful and, all in all, it was just so perfect.

Family trips are my absolute favorite. I feel like we are all at our best when we are traveling together to fun places and staying busy with activities.

The drive to St. Louis is about 9 hours, and heading there we split the drive up and stopped in Tennessee. When we arrived in the city we headed straight to City Museum-- probably the best children's museum I have ever seen. It was insanely crowded, but we loved it.

Dinner on the first night was at this Mexican restaurant after the museum.

The second day was long and very filled with activities. We spent most of the day at Union Station where we went to the aquarium, did a ropes course, walked through a mirror maze, rode a Ferris wheel, played mini golf, and ate lunch.

We made a last minute decision to buy tickets to a hockey game about an hour before it started. The boys and I had never been to a hockey game and it was fun! I'm not sure I would go to a lot of hockey games, but it was fun to see something new.
