Ever since the boys were small I have always hoped to do a trip with them for their thirteenth birthdays. It was such a big wish and sometimes those things just somehow don't happen or don't work out for a million different reasons.
But we were able to make this birthday trip happen for Carver and it turned out to be such a gift. An incredible gift of time and fun and core memories made. I will forever be grateful for this trip.
Carver and I headed to Cincinnati, OH for a few days and we had the BEST time. Jenny generously let us stay at her house while she was in Florida. We planned fun things for each day, but also scheduled in a lot of downtime, which Carver loves. It was fun and laidback and just the absolute perfect trip. Both of us were really sad when it was over-- which is a big deal because we are both people that like to be home 😊
